Review 1: Hotel room (112) is an internal room with no ventilation and no air conditioning. A window opens onto a service duct area that is covered in bird mess. Quiet but very drab and roasting hot.Staff and breakfast good Review 2: Great staff - eager to help out. Highly recommend Review 3: I would definately recommend this hotel. The location is ideal for touring London. Rooms very very comfortable and very clean (even get underloor heating in bathroom). Food was excellent, plenty to choose from all on a buffet system and all very hot. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Couldnt fault it. Would definately return and recommend. Review 4: Very accomodating as you should expect of a hotel of this price and caliber. Review 5: would have no hesitation in staying here on another occasion |

Review 1: Not too bad, although not getting breakfast included or even free WiFi/Internet access for your laptop seemed a little mean. Review 2: I will definitely stay here again, if I want to be near Liverpool Street. Nice rooms, modern and well equipped. Excellent experience. Review 3: Modern hotel, charmingly avoiding pre-victorian infrastucture (toilets, showers and beds are top continental European standard). Location will improve when City grows east. Review 4: We really enjoyed our stay at the Saint Gregory Hotel cleanliness was excellent and the breakfast room had a wonderful view over part of London Tube station 10 minute walk We will certainly stay there again in our opinion value for money Review 5: Excellent accomodation, very centrally located and staff very helpful |

Review 1: No aircon and rooms very hot. Windows out onto main street so unsurprisingly was very noisy. Review 2: Very handy place in heart of West End and reasonable price. Breakfast was dreadful - everything had run out way before close of service and the orange juice had never seen an orange in its life! Cold bacon and no sausages! Review 3: Rooms were very basic and small! Location very good to the Phoenix theatre. Review 4: Satisfactory hotel in a very good location Review 5: We stayed just one night in London after going to the theatre and the location was great for us. We were slightly worried about the hotel as some reviews we read werent great but we soon realised we had nothing to worry about. Polite staff meet us, and the room was clean and had everything we needed. It wasnt a very big room but as we were only there to sleep this was fine. Breakfast the following morning was very nice. Wed definantely stay again as value for money is excellent. |

Review 1: Very good location across from Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. Easy walk to Royal Albert Hall, Natural History and Science Museums. Enjoyed our stay and would return again. Review 2: Good clean and comfortable and friendly hotel staff, all staff were helpful and wonderful to me and my husband close to all other popular london locations, the restauraunt left a little to be desired but in all fairness the hotel did not say anthing but basic on at that time, there were plenty of other places to eat besides so we did not feel let down by that fact,I would definatly stay there again since I know that it is such a ice place to go back if your looking for opulance don`t stay here but if your looking for a really friendly and helpful clean and comforable place to stay make this your first choice. Review 3: excellent value plenty big enough room very clean all provisions replaced every day and all staff polite and helpful [and really is only a few minutes and easy to find from the underground] would highly recommend and will be using each time we come up Review 4: In Queensway, Boots and M&S open till 10p.m. Laundrettes nearby. Excellent transport. Hotel rooms extremely small. Storage is minimal. Arriving from Australia with 2 suitcases and hand luggage we found a 2-ft. wide open wardrobe space with a top shelf and a safe at the bottom. There was little else, and we had to live out of our suitcases. The bathroom was cramped, with only the edge of the bath to store anything. The room was quiet and had a fridge, tea/coffee tray and hair dryer. There was only one public room, used for meals and as a bar. Continental breakfast was adequate; cooked breakfast was available at 4 pounds extra. The hotel seemed to be booked out with numerous coach parties. Overall, the hotel was adequate, clean aqnd basic - we chose it mainly for its location. Review 5: Hotel was well located for my trip and well priced also. Only comment was that the continental breakfast could have included some meat and cheese. |

Review 1: Very nice small hotel. VERY small rooms, but clean!!! We had problems having our towls changed and had to ask for it twice. But very good for the money. Good breakfast! Review 2: Rooms are very small and there is no wardrobe. So the room is constantly messy unless you put things back in your suitcase. Toilet cabins are so small that I think many people would find them difficult to use. To sit down on the toilet requires the door to be open ;) Also the shower cabin is extremely small. Also disappointing that the hotel charges 5£ when paying with credit card (not mentioned when you make the booking), and 5£ for leaving the luggaqe if you need to deposit anything for some hours the day you leave the hotel. The breakfast (continental) is not too bad. A VERY hard boiled eg, toast with marmelade and buttercheese, coffee/tea, cereals and some kind of fruit juice. But the breakfast room is so small, and the furniture likewise, that it is a struggle to even get seated. We noticed a few comic scenes during the four days we stayed there that could beat any episode of Monty Pyton. Review 3: Over the last few weeks ivebeen popping in and out of london and often stay in victoria. This was the best of the bunch and for the money i cant coplain at all. Staff were freindy and the rooms were clean. Thats all i needed and thats what i got so im very happy, especially considering the price Review 4: An ideal hotel for a short stay in London. The rooms were clean and basic. It would have been nice if the breakfast staff had been a bit more friendly! Review 5: A couple of very basic issues but irritating 1) No handtowels 2) No shower mat 3) Extractor fan did not operate in bathroom 4) No drinking glasses |

Review 1: We had booked over www.discountcityhotels.net with a continental breakfast (CB). As we checked in we had discussions about the CB and they told us that it was not included and that we had to pay extra for it. Luckily we had the online resvervation confirmation printout with us. So we finally had our CB without paying extra. Review 2: Good value. close to underground station. not much around the area. execellent restaurant in the pub across the street (wheatsheaf) Review 3: Clean, not exciting but perfectly good for the price. Dont expect a piano bar! Rooms simple but fairly modern, big enough to swing a cat. Liked the ceiling fan. Shower only but all worked well. No internet unless you pay heavily. Breakfast looked dreary so give it a miss. Recommend Robertos tapas bar! Review 4: Only down side is that the water on the bathroom ran warm, or very hot, no cold water from the sink, other than that perfect location for a hen party wanting easy access to the centre of London Review 5: Hotel87 is located on South Lambeth Road, not too far from Vauxhall station. Its within walking distance of Brixton making it ideal for clubbers. Generally, the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. In contrast to normal ensuite bathrooms in London hotels, Hotel87s shower rooms are reasonably spacious and exceptionally clean. Certainly a very high scorer for less then £70 a night. |

Review 1: Hotel was very nosiy, I could hear my neighbours and a family in the room above throughout most of the night. Good value for its location, you wont get a 3 star in this area for less. Breakfast was reasonable although nothing to write home about. Review 2: We were a bit surprised as the room was tiny compared to the photo we booked on. But in saying that - it was adequate and clean and most things worked. The location was fantastic and there were restaurants, grocerys, banks & tube very close. Review 3: Plumbing dated but adequate. Room a little on small side. Review 4: Compared to the hotels I stayed in on my earlier travels to London, the Park hotel was a step better. Although, the fridge in my room did not work, the mattress was worn down and it was not possible to close the door to the shower when showering. The breakfast was ok. And the hotel is only 5 minutes (when walking) away from the tube station "Gloucester Road", which is quite comfy if you want to take the Piccadilly line to Heathrow. The hotel is ok if you only stay a few nights. Review 5: Have stayed at this hotel 4-5 times, due to its reasonable price (for double rooms) and excellent location, with only 5 minutes walk to very practical Underground station - and huge supermarket. Friendly service. Minuses are the very limited size of some single rooms, and the somewhat chaotic bustle during the breakfast buffet rush hour. |

Review 1: Had a brief stay at the Millennium Mayfair last week for business. No bad words to say about this place, very professional and efficient staff. Rooms are very spacious and clean. eventhough I didnt have time to enjoy the great location, its very conviently situated right in the middle of town, but in a quiet area. You cant go wrong with this one! Review 2: Great stay. Upgraded to delux room as they didnt supply flowers as requested with Champagne. Great if you are staying for theatre/shopping. Had great reviews and I can see why. Great value for money. Excellent!! Review 3: We were going to a charity ball in Park Lane and this hotel was ideally situated. There were a lot of staff behind reception but check-in didnt go as smoothly as you would have expected. Our room was not ready and we were given a voucher for a complimentary soft drink in the bar. We were a party of 4 couples but one of our party was put onto the 4th floor while the rest of us were on the 2nd. The room was very comfortable, also the bed, but the room was rather small. Discount City Hotels gave us a very good rate which made up for a lot. If we had paid the full price of £275 for the night I wouldnt have been so accepting. There was limited tea, coffee & milk. Make sure you ask the concierge for a discount ticket for the car park. Many people were not told and 10% off made a difference. We would stay here again but only at the special rate. Well done Discount City Hotels! Review 4: Taking my 19 year old daughter shopping the hotel offers great location within walking distance of main shopping areas and when Id had enough a sit in the park opposite was very restful Review 5: As title says, lovely location but the hotal wasnt as grand as I was expecting. Booked a double room but got a twin (althought they did change this). Room was ok, but nothing special, considering it is a 4 star hotel - was expecting a bit more luxury. |

Review 1: the service at reception was not that great for a hotel of this standard. Firstly, they didnt speak clearly and although I have nothing against foreigners, one essential condition you should expect to receive from reception, your first point of contact, is friendliness and professionalism. They had 2 of my guests waiting in the reception lobby for 30 minutes because they refused to check them in, although there was a credit card number against their room booking. Review 2: (Single) room was perfectly acceptable - clean and refurbished - but nothing more than I would expect from a 4* hotel. Hotel itself is rather old and depressing. Restaurant was tired and dull, service was awful and food had obviously been more appetizing at 7 pm than it was after sitting under hot lamps till 8.30pm! Location is fine if you want to visit museums, but too far out for theatreland, Soho, Oxford St. and Coven Garden. Very overpriced. Youre paying for Kensington location not for hotel quality. Review 3: Great choice of hotel and really good value for money....A little dissapointed with having a room on the front of the hotel (loud road noise) nevertheless I would definitely stay again.. Review 4: When Im heading for London the Rembrandt is my first choice. Ideal location, friendly service and with the health club on site what more can you ask. Review 5: IF ANYONE LOOKING A GOOD HOTEL IN LONDON I STRONGLY ADVISE REMBRANDT , YOU WILL BE HAPPY TO STAY THERE. |

Review 1: I like the Queens Hotel! I stayed there in97,99, and now 2007. I was glad to see they were still there and in business. The staff are very friendly! It is not far from the tube station, and a bus, the 390, runs frequently down to the West End. There must have been some confusion, though, between this website and the hotel, because when I arrived they had no record of my reservation. Luckily, I had the printout of my confirmation, and I was actually upgraded to a larger room for the same price as my original single room. I might actually call the hotel directly to book if I stay there again, which I probably will! Review 2: The room was small but okay as we really only slept there. We were expecting bunks as there was 5 of us but we got 5 beds so no real room to move at all. The kitchen staff were lovely and the breakfast was nice and plentiful. Review 3: location is good, just 5 minutes walk from Undergrund. Nice building with a lot of potential. It needs desperately a new inventory. The owner told me that will happen soon (we have been there i october 2006. Price was good, so was the english breakfast. The staff was very helpfull en friendly. Review 4: Double en-suite was fine. Single en-suite was too cold, no heating and no extra blankets. Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Review 5: Good Hotel for one or two nights in London. Quiet neighbourhood, good service. |

Review 1: It has AC which was required this summer. Quiet at night. VERY small bathroom, room for 1 only,(cupboard) but it all worked and was very clean. No viewable picture on TV in room 402 and was never fixed. Staff could have been more welcoming and strugled with English. (Scottish) Good location for Trains. We walked or took a cab. Not much to do close to the hotel. Review 2: Close to Paddington station so convenient for trains. Well appointed, if small, bedrooms.Recently modernised & good value. Review 3: Very very small room, no room on the desk for the computer, no room to walk around the bed. You get the point .... Review 4: We were only there for one night when seeing a concert at the 02 stadium and as we had to be on a train the next morning the locatation near paddington was great. Nely decorated modern rooms were good. Bad TV reception was a bit annoying but we werent in the room for long so it didnt bother us. Bathroom was small, but clean with nice shower. Review 5: ..two days the room was not vaccumed nor enough towels provided. I reported it to Ana at the front desk. |

Review 1: Thank you for much for your email dated 16 Jan 08. My parents and I had a good stay at Belvedere Hotel and this is our 2nd stay on same year i.e. 2007. My previous stay was from 13 Sep to 17 Sep 07. The locality of the hotel was so convenient to move around with the Tube station around the corner and easy access to the food "joints" and souvenier shops too. I will definitely be coming back again !. Please send my thank you too to the breakfast staffs and chamber-maids I will forward you photo of us in front of the hotel entrance. Once again, thank you and all the best for 2008. Review 2: The room was quite basic but it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple but good and the service was prompt. The location was very handy for buses and the tube into the city centre. On the down side we had no cold water in the sink in the en suite, I reported this but nothing was done about it. There was also a leak from the sink which caused water to lie on the bathroom floor. During the very hot weather air condioning or at least a fan would be very welcome. We had to keep the window open all night which meant that sleep was difficult because of a lot of noise from the street. The lack of a fire escape was also worry. Finally there were tea/coffee making facilities but no milk supplied. Review 3: We had an enjoyable stay at your hotel, Thank you. Review 4: Good cheap hotel, however vile smell coming from en-suite which is the only thing that let it down. All staff helpful and they allowed us to drop bags before room was ready and leave until we departed in the afternoon. Thank you. Review 5: Stayed in 5 bedded family room which was clean, breakfast was good and staff were all friendly and helpful |

Very comfortable and excellent value. Review 3: Superb location, friendly helpful staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was a bit cramped but there was a very good selection of food. I will use this hotel again. Review 4: room(s) needs better lighting. Review 5: I found the Commodore Hotel on the internet and was a little scared to book something sight unseen. What a wonderful surprise. This hotel is a hidden gem. The room are gracious, the beds and linens are great and staff warm and helpful. I will definitely be returning to this hotel again in the near future! |

Review 1: The hotel location was good for me. The only comment I would like to add is that the shower room ensuite was too small even for someone who is thin. Review 2: Nice and coasy hotel in the heart of London close to everything. This was our first visit at this hotel but not the last. Review 3: I was very happy with the room I was allocated. Review 4: My two children and I stayed here in a triple room, their godmother in a single room and my sister in law and her little boy in a double room. The single room was in a funny location over a little bridge and stank of cigarette smoke. The double room was fine. Our triple room was in fact a little self contained annexe which would have been fine except for the fact it had carpets with very dubious stains and it was a bit creepy going up a dark alley when there was just me and the children. Breakfast was fine and so was the service on Reception - cant fault those at all. The bathroom was also clean and there were plenty of towels. Review 5: the bath room so small you have to wait to have breakfast |

Review 1: The hotel is well situated down the road from Earls court station. Perfect for spending the day around the museums! However, the room was tatty, stains on the sheets and headboards. The room was very small for a double and positioned near the service area...this meant that for a non-smoker it was hell! All the staff hang around the fire exit having a fag break! Review 2: The location is perfect and rooms are lovely. Would definitely stay again. Review 3: Very good hotel and room. Newly refurbished. Booked twin-room via City Hotels.net and got it confirmed, but got a standard dubbleroom with a poor extra bed. Review 4: very nice and clean rooms. Orginal style of rooms. One Girl in this hotel is HOT. Review 5: Do not have any complaints. Room was spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Will use hotel again. Cannot find fault. |

Review 1: I stayed at the Strand Palace Hotel on Sat/Sun 20/21 January, in Room 298. On the Saturday evening, c.6 pm, I ran a bath. The hot water was lukewarm at best. Similarly, on Sunday morning, the water was far from hot. Not good enough! I trust that this gets back to the hotel. Review 2: In the end, great value for money. Bookeda club double, and initially given a room where you couldnt even walk both sides of the bed. 2nd room slightly better but in the roof and felt like an oven. Finally, thrid room offered was great.....reaction and effort but a key member of staff turned an irrate customer into a very satisfied one Review 3: A reasonable hotel, well positioned and serviced, but unfortunately one that just cant handle the heat! Business rooms are comfortable, but need A/C Review 4: I actualy slept on the Bathroom Floor on the night as: 1. I was in a room that overlooked the Strand and it was extrmely noisy 2. There was a sound of sobbing and crying from the next room until 3AM which was when i decided to sleep in the Bath Room. For that and for that reason only, I probably wouldnt stay at the Stand Palace again. However, its a nice Hotel Review 5: Very central and good transport links. Clean, compact. |

Review 1: We stayed at this hotel in September 2006. Had a little difficulty finding it but once we did we found it was in an excellent location for Victoria Station from where we were travelling next day. We paid extra for breakfast but this seemed quite good value for what we paid. Review 2: We booked this hotel as we were going to see Billy Elliott at Victoria Palace Theatre and can say the location, service and value for money was all second to none, and would highly recommend! Review 3: Well priced and located, not luxurious, but clean and tidy, staff were friendly and pre theatre meal was good value for money. Not the best hotel in central london but one of the best value for money stays I have had Review 4: great hotel, stayed here the night before I did the Marathon. The staff were very helpful and hotel rooms were of a very good & modern standard. The only thing which let it down was the hotels leisure facilities. They were small & quite dated compared the the rest of the hotel. Other than this I would highly recommend it. Review 5: The jaccuzi suite is massive and really smart but it looks like they refurbished the bedroom and lounge area but not the bathroom which had aged a little - like the swimming pool - but still great having a jaccuzi in your hotel room though! Unfortunately we didnt have the greatest night sleep as the aircon unit on the roof made a loud humming sound and as we were on the top floor it was a bit like being in a airplane all night. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was perfect as we needed to be near Victoria station. |

Review 1: Excellent hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Location was a little out of the centre but the bus stop was just outside. Well worth the money Review 2: Friendly staff, a basic good value hotel. Not a great part of the Edgeware Rd., but bus service is frequent. Underground is a ten minute walk. Review 3: A good basic clean hotel with helpful staff. However, if it wasnt for the fact that they had a spare room then my travelling half way accross london at 2 in the morning would have ended in disappointment to say the least as your site had failed to reserve the room even though I had the print out stating that it had been! Review 4: This hotel was a real bargain! It was very clean. The room was fairly small, but contained everything that you would need for a night or two in London including air conditioning, which was much appreciated. The room was quiet despite the hotel being on a busy street. Perhaps not the nicest location in London, but only a short walk to the tube station. Breakfast consisted of cereals, toast and mini muffins and although the selection wasnt extensive, it was certainly sufficient. Review 5: No FREE WIRELESS INTERNET wich in they advertise as it was free, the worse cable television ever sometimes some channels did not work, and they offer for example electrical adaptors wich they did not have. |
