Review 1: The hotel itself is good value, good location and good service. However, the restaurant (Deans)was not so good. Clean and with a good menu but I had to ask for a menu and was then told that i would have to wait for at least 30 minutes for my food. I left and went to Pizza Hut, a few doors away Review 2: Good location, good selection of restaurants nearby. Efficent checkout and breakfast. My room was a bit small Review 3: Good location, comfortable room (quite noisy at night from the traffic, however it didnt disturb our sleep with the windows closed). We would stay there again and would recommend it as a base when visiting London on a budget. Review 4: The hotel got nothing very well, the people who work there are not friendly, they do not have anything special but the location is good. so if you want a bed to sleep in (cheap bed) and you can sleep trough the traffic sounds it is an ok hotel to see London city. Review 5: Very useful for attending venues in the Bloomsbury area which is a fairly frequent conference location |

Review 1: Modern hotel, charmingly avoiding pre-victorian infrastucture (toilets, showers and beds are top continental European standard). Location will improve when City grows east. Review 2: Was better as an independent. Noticeable differences Review 3: The four star hotel in London, brand new and very clean for 240 pounds for Friday to Sunday (three nights)is an excellent deal! The location may seem slightly remote, but it is on the very border of the City which has been expanding east very fast. I recommend it strongly Review 4: I will definitely stay here again, if I want to be near Liverpool Street. Nice rooms, modern and well equipped. Excellent experience. Review 5: Absolute great value for money. The location isnt too good, as the hotel appears to be next door to a "Gentlemans Club". However, if you enjoy a good curry, then Brick Lane is a stones throw away |

Review 1: Excellent location, easy to find but the area was very noisy and as a consequence sleeping was a little restless. The service was very slow and with one person at reception ignoring us for several minutes before dealing with us just for our room key. Breakfast was adequate but slow we therefore expected freshly cooked but the eggs were over done and a little dry particulary as we were the only ones for breakfast at that point in time. Review 2: We stayed just one night in London after going to the theatre and the location was great for us. We were slightly worried about the hotel as some reviews we read werent great but we soon realised we had nothing to worry about. Polite staff meet us, and the room was clean and had everything we needed. It wasnt a very big room but as we were only there to sleep this was fine. Breakfast the following morning was very nice. Wed definantely stay again as value for money is excellent. Review 3: Like many London hotels, the room was far too hot and stuffy. Dont the owners ever spend time in them to see what its like? Tried sleeping with the window open, but was constatntly woken by street sounds. Pity - because the welcome was friendly and I enjoyed the breakfast. Review 4: They didnt have enough double rooms on the first night and put us in the "suite". This was an adequately sized double room - so it was a bit of a shock when we moved into the double the following night. Cramped and stuffy Review 5: A clean, well situated hotel with friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint was there was no vegetarian option for breakfast. |

Review 1: Very good value for money but no hot water and breakfast was disappointing with poor quality fruit juices and stale bread Review 2: Good room, reception staff could learn to smile and try to look like they enjoy being at work. Good location. Shame room had a small old fashioned tv but minor gripes only Review 3: When breakfast is open to 10 o`clock, you must serv food to all guest that arrived befor 10. Review 4: After reading quite a number of negative reviews I did not know what to expect. We stayed for 2 nights and found the room plenty large enough for our needs and although the small bathroom took some nagivating it was clean, the shower was powerful and there was enough shampoo, etc (which was replaced when the room was made up). The continental breakfast was basic but good although I could not work out why the ham and cheese was included in the additional charge of an English breakfast. Alot of building work is being carried out but did not cause us any problems. Review 5: Hotel was well located for my trip and well priced also. Only comment was that the continental breakfast could have included some meat and cheese. |

Review 1: The location is great and if you dont have back problems (terribly uncomfortable beds) and can put up with a bit of random hair in the shower, this place is decent enough. However, even though Im a student on a budget, I would save up a bit more and stay somewhere nicer next time. Review 2: An unusual five-bedded room is a good option for families. The only thing I did not like is that they charged us 5 pounds for storing the luggage after the check-out. The bed covers dont look or smell clean, but the sheets are fine. The bathrooms are really small. Good breakfast. Review 3: I recommend not to stay more than 1 night at this hotel. The room is very dull, the bathroom is extremely small (if you carry a bit of weight, you should avoid this hotel!). The hotel is however very warm (radiators are on all the time) and well situated, closed to the main attractions. Review 4: Over the last few weeks ivebeen popping in and out of london and often stay in victoria. This was the best of the bunch and for the money i cant coplain at all. Staff were freindy and the rooms were clean. Thats all i needed and thats what i got so im very happy, especially considering the price Review 5: Rooms are very small and there is no wardrobe. So the room is constantly messy unless you put things back in your suitcase. Toilet cabins are so small that I think many people would find them difficult to use. To sit down on the toilet requires the door to be open ;) Also the shower cabin is extremely small. Also disappointing that the hotel charges 5£ when paying with credit card (not mentioned when you make the booking), and 5£ for leaving the luggaqe if you need to deposit anything for some hours the day you leave the hotel. The breakfast (continental) is not too bad. A VERY hard boiled eg, toast with marmelade and buttercheese, coffee/tea, cereals and some kind of fruit juice. But the breakfast room is so small, and the furniture likewise, that it is a struggle to even get seated. We noticed a few comic scenes during the four days we stayed there that could beat any episode of Monty Pyton. |

Review 1: fully met our expectations Review 2: Very pleased with the quality and standard of the hotel. Only problem was in locating it as the address sign where the hotel 87 was written was obscured by folliage and we hadnt appreciated that it was the Comfort Inn from the internet booking form Review 3: After reading some of the negative reviews I was a bit worried but I didnt need to be because the hotel was exellent, the room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the location was really good for getting into London and Brixton Academy where we went in the evening, for the price we paid for the room we couldnt complain and the next time we have to go to London we will book the Hotel again Review 4: The hotel was not where the directions said it was!!!!! When i eventually found it I thought initially it was ok! Booked in without any problems and was given a room on the second floor. Id made my booking a few weeks ago and asked for a single room en-suite, i was given a family room with a double bed and 2 singles with not much room to move between them all! The room was adequate but nothing special and the facilities in the room were just ok. The bathroom was nice though! Ive been in much better hotels and im sure ive been in worse but cant quite remember!.....overall it was just ok. Review 5: Compared to other hotels it was cheap and the quad rooms were of good quality. Direction hint: All descriptions tell you to take "Exit 1" at Vauxhall station, but "Exit 3" is the right one. Then the rest of the description makes sense again. |

Review 1: My colleagues and I took 3 double rooms at the Park International during Sep and had no complaints whatsoever. The rooms were nice & clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms spotless. The service at the reception and in the restaurant were top notch and the breakfast spread was more than sufficient. The only complaint is that the variety of breakfast served should be varied each day. As we had the exact same items served for all 5 days that we stayed there. But its complimentary, so cant really expect too much. Also a bit of difficulty getting our luggage from the hotel to our cab as they cant stop directly in front of the hotel for pick up. Still, we had a wonderful time all around. Review 2: Plumbing dated but adequate. Room a little on small side. Review 3: Very practical, comfortable choice for anyone looking for a value for money hotel in Central London. Close to convenient restaurants and Waitrose! The tube is only 3 minutes up the road. Review 4: Clean, functional. Just dont expect wonderful beds or lots of space. Still, staying in Kensington at £81 per night is never going to be matching more expensive hotels for overall wow factor. You get what you pay for and on this the Park delivers an adequate service overall for a cheap price. Review 5: not for kids rooms small no food other than breakfast bathroom dated and small bar closed at 10.30 and no kids allowed at 78 pm |

Review 1: We were going to a charity ball in Park Lane and this hotel was ideally situated. There were a lot of staff behind reception but check-in didnt go as smoothly as you would have expected. Our room was not ready and we were given a voucher for a complimentary soft drink in the bar. We were a party of 4 couples but one of our party was put onto the 4th floor while the rest of us were on the 2nd. The room was very comfortable, also the bed, but the room was rather small. Discount City Hotels gave us a very good rate which made up for a lot. If we had paid the full price of £275 for the night I wouldnt have been so accepting. There was limited tea, coffee & milk. Make sure you ask the concierge for a discount ticket for the car park. Many people were not told and 10% off made a difference. We would stay here again but only at the special rate. Well done Discount City Hotels! Review 2: Very good hotel, we really enjoyed our Stay Review 3: paying £150 for hotel room that stank of smoke had windows taped up and no cold water so washing impossible told could have shower on 4th floor I was on first floor. Two guys next door having a riotous time they could have been in my room the soundproofing was so bad. The location was great but next time no point in paying for such poor facilities Review 4: hotel standard was what you would expect from a 4 star+. Had poor service though. looks like lack of organisation and initiative. Main issue was due to noise from next room. Although not hotels direct fault were unwilling to solve problem. Review 5: excellent value in a prime location |

Review 1: (Single) room was perfectly acceptable - clean and refurbished - but nothing more than I would expect from a 4* hotel. Hotel itself is rather old and depressing. Restaurant was tired and dull, service was awful and food had obviously been more appetizing at 7 pm than it was after sitting under hot lamps till 8.30pm! Location is fine if you want to visit museums, but too far out for theatreland, Soho, Oxford St. and Coven Garden. Very overpriced. Youre paying for Kensington location not for hotel quality. Review 2: the location is excellent, the rate reasonable considering the rates paid at other hotels at S.Kensington Review 3: we spent just one night at the Rembrandt as a treat for my 7 year old nephews birthday. Very impressed with hotel, food and service. My nephew loved it. Close to all the sights we wanted to see with him. Very enjoyable Review 4: As indicated in my review, virtually everything was excellent at the hotel. My only gripe rally is that the room was a little small. Staff reactions and service could not be faulted. Well done! Review 5: We have stay at this hotel 3 times before, and we will stay there again, because it is at very good hotel |

Review 1: Good location. Good breakfast.Good shower. Room needs daily cleaning. Review 2: It was a pleasant location, lots of choices for restaurants in the area, and the staff was very friendly. Review 3: Double en-suite was fine. Single en-suite was too cold, no heating and no extra blankets. Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Review 4: Excellent location, friendly staff. A little bit grubby and out-dated. Cracked mirror, TV not working, lamps not working. Value for money. Review 5: Noisy at night with people running about all night. Rooms poor with old utility furniture. Reception area bleak. |

Review 1: Close to Paddington station so convenient for trains. Well appointed, if small, bedrooms.Recently modernised & good value. Review 2: V. close to Paddington station. Clean & good value for central London. Review 3: I understand if the airco cannot work in extreme heat - BUT: We were given a dirty room during checkin, we had to ask for a fan (twice), they moved customers back & forth between their other hotels like it was no big deal & the manager was never around to speak with the customers (in the 3 days I stayed there). Thankfully we had a nice breakfast every morning! Review 4: Hotel is located good if you need to be close to Paddington Station. Reception is nice, room was okay. Checking in was a bit of a nightmare with only trainees around, rooms not ready, keys not working etc. Review 5: Pleasant, comfortable stay, our bedroom was larger than that of our friends. Excellent breakfast in bright diningroom, only complaint is that there was only one bathtowel, and we had to ask staff several times before we eventually got another one. Otherwise great value |

Review 1: Thank you for much for your email dated 16 Jan 08. My parents and I had a good stay at Belvedere Hotel and this is our 2nd stay on same year i.e. 2007. My previous stay was from 13 Sep to 17 Sep 07. The locality of the hotel was so convenient to move around with the Tube station around the corner and easy access to the food "joints" and souvenier shops too. I will definitely be coming back again !. Please send my thank you too to the breakfast staffs and chamber-maids I will forward you photo of us in front of the hotel entrance. Once again, thank you and all the best for 2008. Review 2: I really DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. £65 for a very small tight room. The bathroom was so small. Barely enough space to have a shower or even get in. The bed was a double but looked more like a single bed. Ive paid less money before for a better hotel and service. Strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND Review 3: We stayed at the Belvedere Hotel during the first week of April, 2007. It is a budget hotel, but it was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good, filling and plentiful. The location was great, about 3 blocks from Paddington Station. Review 4: We had a room painted strong yellow, but a pleasant high ceilinged room overlooking the reasonably quiet square. The bedspreads need replacing and give a tired impression, (we like duvet quilts). Had to que for breakfast on Sunday morning, but appreciated the full English breakfast and this made the stay value for money. Review 5: Convenient and value for money |

Review 1: Great location-about 4min walk from the tube. Other attractions within walking distance. Hotel is very clean and staff very friendly, rooms are quite small but cosy Review 2: Excellent location. Just across the road from Hyde Park and short walk to Paddington Station. Staff were also excellent and went out of their way to assist. Would definately stay there again Review 3: Staff VERY friendly and helpful.Excellent Continental Breakfast.Rooms on the small side - but not unacceptable.Adapted Victorian building could be problematic in respect of accessibility. Review 4: Excellent place to stay!! Review 5: Excellent location with easy access to the Tube, Kensington. Continental breakfast was very good. |

Review 1: . We had no complain and would definitely like to stay again. Perhaps some refurbishment will be good facelift. Review 2: Hotel was fine to stay after the Who concert at Hyde Park. Bar was very poor - no pint glasses, unable to provide a second glass of Prosecco as the downstairs bar was closed and the mini bottle of champagne at £10 was not chilled properly. Room was also not ready when we arrived after the check-in time. Otherwise, not bad and room air conditioning was very good on such a hot day. Review 3: Although the hotel isnt much to look at from the outside, inside is relatively spacious and clean. All in all the hotel is nothing special - just what youd expect from a 3* hotel - but for the price the location is excellent and the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Review 4: Staff very helpful and friendly, good location for shopping and some of the theatres.Continental breakfast lovely and plentiful all round a good stay. Review 5: On arrival all the staff were very polite, friendly & helpful. The rooms were basic but clean & had all facilities needed for our stay. Would use again at the price we paid. |

Review 1: Took about 10 minutes to confirm I was actually booked in - said they hadnt received info from discountcityhotels etc. Luke warm shower in the morning. Other than that, fine for a budget room. Review 2: My two children and I stayed here in a triple room, their godmother in a single room and my sister in law and her little boy in a double room. The single room was in a funny location over a little bridge and stank of cigarette smoke. The double room was fine. Our triple room was in fact a little self contained annexe which would have been fine except for the fact it had carpets with very dubious stains and it was a bit creepy going up a dark alley when there was just me and the children. Breakfast was fine and so was the service on Reception - cant fault those at all. The bathroom was also clean and there were plenty of towels. Review 3: Nice and coasy hotel in the heart of London close to everything. This was our first visit at this hotel but not the last. Review 4: The hotel location was good for me. The only comment I would like to add is that the shower room ensuite was too small even for someone who is thin. Review 5: Good value hotel in a area which gives easy access to train and tube station. The rooms in this hotel are small but very clean. The staff were efficient and friendly. Good base for sightseeing. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in this area too. |

Review 1: very nice and clean rooms. Orginal style of rooms. One Girl in this hotel is HOT. Review 2: location excellent, just a few hundred metres from tube station and earls court arena. Our room was on the small side but clean although rather warm and he air con did not seem to be working. We had a noise coming from the radiator but this was rectified. Would class as a three star rather than four. Review 3: The location is perfect and rooms are lovely. Would definitely stay again. Review 4: The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless and this hotel provided a perfect base for our weekend in London. Review 5: although my visit was for business and for one night it was very enjoyable and the area is excellent I would stay there next time on my next personal visit to London but for a longer period. |

Review 1: Needs a general makeover to present itself better Review 2: A very good hotel with regards to your service and location. I would recommend it to anyone travelling alone Review 3: With the heat wave over and a good quiet room on the 8th floor... a comfortable and value for money good nights sleep. Review 4: In the end, great value for money. Bookeda club double, and initially given a room where you couldnt even walk both sides of the bed. 2nd room slightly better but in the roof and felt like an oven. Finally, thrid room offered was great.....reaction and effort but a key member of staff turned an irrate customer into a very satisfied one Review 5: we enjoyed our stay with you great for the theatre and covent garden area, no air conditioning made for a very hot night, but weather unusually hot for this summer! You had a fan in the room which did help a bit. |

Review 1: We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights during which we had to change rooms 3 times. The air conditioning allowed next-doors conversation to be piped directly into our room at 1am, so we were moved to a double where there was no hot water. We then moved to our final room where the air-conditioning broke down. Through all this the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel also gave us a good discount at the end, so we left happy. Review 2: very good location for rail and coach. Enjoy our stay very much and would recommend hotel Review 3: Whenever I stay in London I travel by megabus into Greenline Coach station. Whenever I stay in a hotel which isnt the Hysperia we struggle to get to the coach on time due to transport or hotel delays. Therefore I am unlikey to stay at any other hotel from now on. Location is perfect. Across the road from the tube, down the street from the coach station. I can make full use of my time by staying here. The staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean with a comfy bed, fridge (minibar), good shower, tv etc. Theres a sainburys, cashpoint, pub and argos all very close by, not to mention the Apollo Victoria. The only thing I would change is the price, even on discount hotels, but its normal for London so I cant complain. Stay here, its great! Review 4: Only negative thing for me about my stay here was that the ladies changing rooms at the pool were not that clean. I expect this is because its not used a whole lot and no female staff were around to check it. Otherwise a great hotel (I paid stg99 for one night thro discountcity hotels. WOuld not pay the usual price of stg275 to be honest tho. Review 5: Well priced and located, not luxurious, but clean and tidy, staff were friendly and pre theatre meal was good value for money. Not the best hotel in central london but one of the best value for money stays I have had |

Review 1: I stay about once a week in a London budget hotel and this is one of the best - much larger than average room and clean and fresh. The breakfast was very good with a lot more on offer than the usual stale rolls, toast, butter and jam. The area gives easy access to Central London and is an ethnically diverse and lively part of the city. For the price I rate the hotel very highly Review 2: rooms were creaky and TV was a let down. The dining area was undesirable( canteen style) with very poor coffee from a machine. The added problem was it was a long way from the nearest tube. On the postive side it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful Review 3: A good basic clean hotel with helpful staff. However, if it wasnt for the fact that they had a spare room then my travelling half way accross london at 2 in the morning would have ended in disappointment to say the least as your site had failed to reserve the room even though I had the print out stating that it had been! Review 4: If your not after a hotel with all the bells and whistles and just need somewhere central in London that is not expensive, near a tube station and clean then this is the hotel for you! The rooms are very clean with good bathrooms, all you need really if you just intend on using the place to crash! Review 5: No FREE WIRELESS INTERNET wich in they advertise as it was free, the worse cable television ever sometimes some channels did not work, and they offer for example electrical adaptors wich they did not have. |
