Review 1: only complaint too hot in room at night. staff very friendly quite unusual in london hotels! Review 2: First rate hotel - ticked all the boxes. Review 3: Affordable, pleasant hotel with an excellent location near Russell Square. Unfortunately, there was a leak in the bathroom which needs to be fixed; otherwise, very pleasant. Review 4: As always this hotel gives good value for money. The rooms are not the best but location is good and the breakfast is excellent Review 5: The receptionist remembered my name the next morning and was very friendly. The location is excellent and was very comfortable. |

Review 1: The hotel itself was what you would expect for a four star hotel. However the position was horrendous and expect to taxi to a reasonable area of London. Review 2: Modern and clean but this area not suitable for kids Review 3: The four star hotel in London, brand new and very clean for 240 pounds for Friday to Sunday (three nights)is an excellent deal! The location may seem slightly remote, but it is on the very border of the City which has been expanding east very fast. I recommend it strongly Review 4: Modern hotel, charmingly avoiding pre-victorian infrastucture (toilets, showers and beds are top continental European standard). Location will improve when City grows east. Review 5: I guess I am not familiar with the interative TV. I thought I would just want to watch news but not available. Maybe should have an option of normal TV with news. Did not get to see any news while over there. |

Review 1: Good Hotel Review 2: A clean, well situated hotel with friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint was there was no vegetarian option for breakfast. Review 3: Excellent location, easy to find but the area was very noisy and as a consequence sleeping was a little restless. The service was very slow and with one person at reception ignoring us for several minutes before dealing with us just for our room key. Breakfast was adequate but slow we therefore expected freshly cooked but the eggs were over done and a little dry particulary as we were the only ones for breakfast at that point in time. Review 4: Like many London hotels, the room was far too hot and stuffy. Dont the owners ever spend time in them to see what its like? Tried sleeping with the window open, but was constatntly woken by street sounds. Pity - because the welcome was friendly and I enjoyed the breakfast. Review 5: This was a good overnight stay. Everywhere was very clean and the service from Reception and Breakfast staff was friendly and efficient. The location, adjacent to both the British Museum and Oxford Street and a pleasant walk to theates, Covent Garden etc is very good. Bedrooms are small and one or two things in the bathroom needed attention - light next to mirror and shower head - but nothing major. |

Review 1: VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY FOR LONDON VERY CLEAN I HAVE NOT TRIED THE FACILITIES SO I CANNOT JUDGE Review 2: In Queensway, Boots and M&S open till 10p.m. Laundrettes nearby. Excellent transport. Hotel rooms extremely small. Storage is minimal. Arriving from Australia with 2 suitcases and hand luggage we found a 2-ft. wide open wardrobe space with a top shelf and a safe at the bottom. There was little else, and we had to live out of our suitcases. The bathroom was cramped, with only the edge of the bath to store anything. The room was quiet and had a fridge, tea/coffee tray and hair dryer. There was only one public room, used for meals and as a bar. Continental breakfast was adequate; cooked breakfast was available at 4 pounds extra. The hotel seemed to be booked out with numerous coach parties. Overall, the hotel was adequate, clean aqnd basic - we chose it mainly for its location. Review 3: Nice clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. Close to Bayswater & Queensway tube stations and virtually opposite Kensington Gardens. Breakfast was included but had to pay extra £2 for cooked food - still a very good deal for only £58/night. Review 4: good value for money. excellent location Review 5: Nice modern american style hotel, nice but small rooms, insuperable location, poor continental breakfast for free, horrible English breakfast. |

Review 1: Enjoyed our visit, small room, tiny bath, but very clean. Review 2: Not satisfied with VFM. Though I reserved using my CC, when I check in they insisted cash. Very bad. But discount city hotel services to be appreciated. Review 3: OK: towels changed every day, bus stop very near, good mattress, quiet environment KO: poor breakfast, too old blanket Review 4: We had a pleasent stay at the hotel. Review 5: We are stay 1 night in the Ronamos Hotels Ensuite Double Room 12A. The room is on basement, overall condition is fine, clean bothroom, foor and bed sheet, comfortable bed. Silent in the night except foot step from uper floor. But boiler is dirty and no tooth brush and paste. Breakfast is simple, coffe or tea, one boiled egg and few peace of bread. Price with this wevsite is 59 GBP similar with others. But the funny this is, i paid 60 pounds in cash when i checked in, the staff said he would gave me the 1 pound change later, but he never appear again neither my 1 pound :) Would recommend. |

Review 1: fully met our expectations Review 2: Only down side is that the water on the bathroom ran warm, or very hot, no cold water from the sink, other than that perfect location for a hen party wanting easy access to the centre of London Review 3: Hotel87 is located on South Lambeth Road, not too far from Vauxhall station. Its within walking distance of Brixton making it ideal for clubbers. Generally, the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. In contrast to normal ensuite bathrooms in London hotels, Hotel87s shower rooms are reasonably spacious and exceptionally clean. Certainly a very high scorer for less then £70 a night. Review 4: The hotel was not where the directions said it was!!!!! When i eventually found it I thought initially it was ok! Booked in without any problems and was given a room on the second floor. Id made my booking a few weeks ago and asked for a single room en-suite, i was given a family room with a double bed and 2 singles with not much room to move between them all! The room was adequate but nothing special and the facilities in the room were just ok. The bathroom was nice though! Ive been in much better hotels and im sure ive been in worse but cant quite remember!.....overall it was just ok. Review 5: this hotel was very nice but was know as comfort inn when we arrived wich was confusing ,it was very central for the local gay bars in vauxhall ,hotel was very clean warm and very affordable would deff stay here again |

Review 1: Very helpful staff Review 2: Booked Twin Room for three nights. We were offered a very small room in the Basement despite Illustration from Discount Hotels. On complaining we were told there was not another twin available so we were offered a Double Room on the Third Floor which was fine. The Room was quite big, very clean but could have been laid out better. There was Air Conditioning which was very welcome, though the Venetian Blinds on the Windows were not operable. The Dining area and service was fine in general. We would stay there again, provided we had the type of room clarified in advance, even though we could not get a drink in the bar after 10.45. p.m. Review 3: Hotel was very nosiy, I could hear my neighbours and a family in the room above throughout most of the night. Good value for its location, you wont get a 3 star in this area for less. Breakfast was reasonable although nothing to write home about. Review 4: Nice hotel, friendly staff, but... charged £1 for a 2002 London map/whats on review, we had a wakeup call at 03:00 followed by a phone call at 03:30 (neither requested - wrong room) - then they wanted £2 for left luggage which I refused to pay given the phone calls; also breakfast pitiful - most Europeans would be amazed at lack of choice and having to make own toast in a toaster! Review 5: Clean, functional. Just dont expect wonderful beds or lots of space. Still, staying in Kensington at £81 per night is never going to be matching more expensive hotels for overall wow factor. You get what you pay for and on this the Park delivers an adequate service overall for a cheap price. |

Review 1: We booked this hotel as we were attending an evening event at a venue on Park Lane - most convenient location. Also very handy for Oxford Street and surrounding area. Found the accommodation to be clean, comfortable and spacious. Only negative was the service. For a 4 star hotel I was a little surprised by how disorganised and confused looking the reception staff were. However, when I pointed out an error they were quick to correct it and to help us out as much as they could. Overall, this place comes recommended. Review 2: My boyfriend and I have just spent the weekend at the Millenium Mayfair for his birthday The hotels location is excellent, very close to the shops and nightlife. We saved lots of money on cabs as we found we could easily walk everywhere. We booked a standard double room which was clean and very cosy (although the bathroom was small, it had everything we needed- including an iron which i always find handy!) All in all we had a fab weekend and for £110 for a night - you cant go wrong. Review 3: We were going to a charity ball in Park Lane and this hotel was ideally situated. There were a lot of staff behind reception but check-in didnt go as smoothly as you would have expected. Our room was not ready and we were given a voucher for a complimentary soft drink in the bar. We were a party of 4 couples but one of our party was put onto the 4th floor while the rest of us were on the 2nd. The room was very comfortable, also the bed, but the room was rather small. Discount City Hotels gave us a very good rate which made up for a lot. If we had paid the full price of £275 for the night I wouldnt have been so accepting. There was limited tea, coffee & milk. Make sure you ask the concierge for a discount ticket for the car park. Many people were not told and 10% off made a difference. We would stay here again but only at the special rate. Well done Discount City Hotels! Review 4: Great hotel, excellent location, good service, very relaxed Review 5: Taking my 19 year old daughter shopping the hotel offers great location within walking distance of main shopping areas and when Id had enough a sit in the park opposite was very restful |

Review 1: Excellent staff who seems to take your requests seriously.Strange though that damages on jacuzzi front panel in bathroom is not fixed. Drags the whole impression down. Review 2: we spent just one night at the Rembrandt as a treat for my 7 year old nephews birthday. Very impressed with hotel, food and service. My nephew loved it. Close to all the sights we wanted to see with him. Very enjoyable Review 3: Would have liked a fridge and a larger bathroom, like my sister and mom had. Review 4: We stayed at the Rembrandt for two weeks. We have no complaints about the hotel, which is being renovated. Soon all rooms will be air-conditioned. We were also satisfied with the services of Discount City Hotels. One glaring exception is that although our confirmation clearly stated "All taxes are included. we were charged a VAT 0f 340.49 GBP. This matter is now in dispute, and the phone calls and faxes back and forth required to resolve it are an unnecessary nuisance. Better communication between the Rembrandt and Discount City Hotels is in order. Review 5: Ideal location, easy access to museums, shopping etc. Always a comfortable place to stay and now looking very up to the minute following the renovations |

Review 1: rooms very basic not in the best condition! Rooms smelt of smoke and damp! Staff friendly but is cheap for london so cant expect much! Review 2: Low price, comfortable room, nice breakfasts, not too far from tube station, I would stay there again! Review 3: location is good, just 5 minutes walk from Undergrund. Nice building with a lot of potential. It needs desperately a new inventory. The owner told me that will happen soon (we have been there i october 2006. Price was good, so was the english breakfast. The staff was very helpfull en friendly. Review 4: It was a pleasant location, lots of choices for restaurants in the area, and the staff was very friendly. Review 5: Stayed here for 2 nights 23-11 to 25-011 2007 Ok the rooms were a shabby, there was no tv and the lamps in the bedroom did not work. the picture gallery which shows a sitting area where was that, basically all it needs is bit of TLC. For the money and location it was good value for money, the breakfast were bit samey. |

Review 1: Very very small room, no room on the desk for the computer, no room to walk around the bed. You get the point .... Review 2: The hotel itself has a reasonably good location, near to the tube stations and a nice break away from the busier parts of central london. However, the service was a little indifferent, and the staff seemed lacking in hospitality. The room was basic, a little cramped and if you stay in the basic accomodation you get put in the basement. Heat is also a problem, as the hotel seemed to be overly hot. On the whole the hotel is ok, but you can find better deals elsewhere. Review 3: Conveniently located in safe neighbourhood within easy walking distance of Paddington Station (and Heathrow Express). Rooms are very compact but fully equipped and very clean albeit not soundproof. Staff are very helpful and food service is good. Review 4: This is a much smarter hotel that the images on the website suggest. Our room (a triple) was split level across a huge beautiful window and was clean, well equipped and well furnished. The main bedroom was very cramped though, making it almost impossible to open the drawers because of the position of the bed. That said it had a small kitchen which we were not expecting which is always handy especially as I was travelling with my children. The Reception staff were a bit dopey but overall it was very good value given its location just on the perimeter of Hyde Park. I would use this hotel again. Review 5: Very clean hotel and good location for visiting london. Only downfall was the bathroom in room extremly small and bad lay out. Shower door would only open 1/4 of the way as basin in the way. Therefore getting in and out of the shower was extremely difficult and awkward plus the shower cubicle was very small. I am not a big person and i had problems getting in and out of the shower so this would be no good for tall or bigger persons. |

Review 1: We had excellent service and would stay there again. The only hiccup was the first time we stayed,we were on the top floor and no lift. The staff arranged for us to stay on the second floor on our next visit, very helpful. They also let us store our bags in between stays. Review 2: Good cheap hotel, however vile smell coming from en-suite which is the only thing that let it down. All staff helpful and they allowed us to drop bags before room was ready and leave until we departed in the afternoon. Thank you. Review 3: hotel good for one night but it was in a very noisy locatio, could hear tube so wouldnt like to stay here for more than one night as would soon get tired. Room we stayed in was very clean and had just been redecorated as still smelt slighly of paint. breakfast good cooked english Review 4: We had an enjoyable stay at your hotel, Thank you. Review 1: My room on the second floor was small but it was very well equipped with everything I needed during my stay in March: a good bathroom, a comfortable bed, a writing table, good lighting. The hotel is very quiet, its location is excellent. I also enjoyed the good breakfast. Review 2: a very nice Hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast selection. Downstairs is a hidden Gem, at night The Restaurant Lancaster Gate, this was good value! Single and Double rooms were more or less standard size while the executive rooms vary a lot. Review 3: room(s) needs better lighting. Review 4: Just off Hyde Park with a quiet relaxing atmosphere. I didnt get an opportunity to sample the restaurant. Only point to watch out for was the onsuite bathroom was down a flight of stairs from the bedroom. Review 5: Given the usual price of London hotels, the value for money at THE COMMODORE is excellent. Very friendly and efficient service and as long as the prices remain - this will become our first choice in London from now on. |

Review 1: please could you get thistle marble arch on your books.mostyn is good,i just like thistle better Review 2: overall very happy with stay room a little small Review 3: I booked one nights accommodation here for a group of 9 work colleagues attending an event in London and it turned out Id made a very good choice. All our rooms were excellent, some of us had a choice of 2 double beds and one of us ended up with a mini suite! The service was good, although check-out was a little slow. The location is perfect, either for a business trip such as ours or a central hotel for tourists. One suggestion would be that breakfast is extended to 10.30am, but still a very good value hotel when booked through yourselves (charges direct with the hotel are alot higher). Review 4: Just off Oxford Street and only a couple of minutes to the nearest tube, I was very pleased with the location of this hotel. The rooms were a satisfatory size and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok though I didnt eat in the restaurant - there were plenty of food places nearby. I would visit the Hotel again! Review 5: Great location and good hotel. Clean and tidy. |

Review 1: bed was very hard and the pillows were rock hard. The bathroom was exceptionally small but functional. Intrucive road noise. Breakfast very poor. Hamburger cheese and wafer thin ham with 1 round of toast each. Review 2: My two children and I stayed here in a triple room, their godmother in a single room and my sister in law and her little boy in a double room. The single room was in a funny location over a little bridge and stank of cigarette smoke. The double room was fine. Our triple room was in fact a little self contained annexe which would have been fine except for the fact it had carpets with very dubious stains and it was a bit creepy going up a dark alley when there was just me and the children. Breakfast was fine and so was the service on Reception - cant fault those at all. The bathroom was also clean and there were plenty of towels. Review 3: I was disappointed to be given a room overlooking London Street, with all its noise, when I had specifically asked for a quiet room overlooking Norfolk Square. Review 4: The hotel was very basic and did not have much to do in it and the rooms were cold and night and the room and the toilet were tiny Review 5: I want to thank you all again for the lovely stay at your hotel. My husband and son, ere very surprised and grateful for the upgrade to the apartment. This was the first international trip for my teenage son, and it made quite an impression on him. The services was excellent, and secure, and we found our stay to be very enjoyable. |

Review 1: This hotel was great, the front of house staff were helpful and the room was awesome. I arrived a little later on for breakfast, with 30 minutes of service left. I was offered two different dirty tables, and then had to approach someone for coffee as we appeared to be ignored. For the price I expected a little service. The breakfast is a buffet breakfast though. Review 2: The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless and this hotel provided a perfect base for our weekend in London. Review 3: Staff very friendly, however requested room with 2 double beds, but this was a different price, which defeated the discount price. No cable TV or sports in rooms, nor anywhere on the premises. In-room internet, minifridge and microwve was a plus, and staff sent someone to help with the broadband connection.Would not choose this hotel again,though- nothing special to make it stand out in this price-range. Review 4: The hotel is well situated down the road from Earls court station. Perfect for spending the day around the museums! However, the room was tatty, stains on the sheets and headboards. The room was very small for a double and positioned near the service area...this meant that for a non-smoker it was hell! All the staff hang around the fire exit having a fag break! Review 5: You could hear alot of noise from the neighbouring rooms. |

Review 1: excellent service [reception] on arrival, fair size room with bright, clean bathroom, most comfy bed ive ever slept in, excellent location [covent garden/ strand], booked online which took no time at all - totally hassle free, all for 130 quid for two nights. bloody good for the money! Review 2: Needs a general makeover to present itself better Review 3: I stayed at the Strand Palace Hotel on Sat/Sun 20/21 January, in Room 298. On the Saturday evening, c.6 pm, I ran a bath. The hot water was lukewarm at best. Similarly, on Sunday morning, the water was far from hot. Not good enough! I trust that this gets back to the hotel. Review 4: With the heat wave over and a good quiet room on the 8th floor... a comfortable and value for money good nights sleep. Review 5: A very good hotel with regards to your service and location. I would recommend it to anyone travelling alone |

Review 1: Ideal for the Tower and very near tube station so, although a little out, very convenient for getting anywhere in London Review 2: Have just stayed for 2 nights in your hotel with a group of choir ladies and we were all very pleased with the high standard of the hotel. We will certainly stay here again. Many thanks. Review 3: We found this a convenient place to get to and from, we have rated this mainly good, not because of any adverse comments, but it is not a 5 star hotel, so we have reserved that catogory, but it certainly is an excellent venue which we will use again. Review 4: I was staying in the city for 2 nights , this is a great hotel, very clean & price was reasonable. Excellent location, next to Tower Hill Station & next to the Tower of London. Would definetly recommend. Review 5: Excellent, would fully recommend. |

Review 1: Well priced and located, not luxurious, but clean and tidy, staff were friendly and pre theatre meal was good value for money. Not the best hotel in central london but one of the best value for money stays I have had Review 2: very good location for rail and coach. Enjoy our stay very much and would recommend hotel Review 3: We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights during which we had to change rooms 3 times. The air conditioning allowed next-doors conversation to be piped directly into our room at 1am, so we were moved to a double where there was no hot water. We then moved to our final room where the air-conditioning broke down. Through all this the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel also gave us a good discount at the end, so we left happy. Review 4: Totally Outstanding hotel would stay there again!!!!! Review 5: I cant honestly complain about anything in this hotel. Especially considering the price! its within 15 minutes walk of Buckingham Palace, Westminster, London Eye and many waterfront attractions. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The restaurant was very good with the pre-theatre menu being exceptionally good value. Staff were friendly, service was good, the balcony that we had with our smoking room was a nice touch too! If I had one complaint it would be that the room was a little small with not much storage, but, considering the cost and quality of the rest of the hotel, that really would be nit-picking. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone |

Review 1: No FREE WIRELESS INTERNET wich in they advertise as it was free, the worse cable television ever sometimes some channels did not work, and they offer for example electrical adaptors wich they did not have. Review 2: rooms were creaky and TV was a let down. The dining area was undesirable( canteen style) with very poor coffee from a machine. The added problem was it was a long way from the nearest tube. On the postive side it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful Review 3: Comfortable, newly done-up with air-conditioning (an asset in London). Decent continental breakfast; just a 5 minutes brisk walk to Edgware Rd station. Great value for money! Review 4: The room was a lot better than I expected. Especially for the amount I paid. staff on the reception were very friendly. Buffet breakfast was also very good, with free Mens Health magazine, Glossy magazine for the girls and free newspapers in abundance. Would definately stay here again! Review 5: The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The decor is new and fresh. However the hotel is a poor location, surrounded by greasy takeaways so that you have to travel to get a good meal. We had a triple room for 3 adults, but the third bed was very small and hard. The breakfast was of average standard. |
