| Clean, not exciting but perfectly good for the price. Dont expect a piano bar! Rooms simple but fairly modern, big enough to swing a cat. Liked the ceiling fan. Shower only but all worked well. No internet unless you pay heavily. Breakfast looked dreary so give it a miss. Recommend Robertos tapas bar! |

| Only down side is that the water on the bathroom ran warm, or very hot, no cold water from the sink, other than that perfect location for a hen party wanting easy access to the centre of London |

| Compared to other hotels it was cheap and the quad rooms were of good quality.
Direction hint: All descriptions tell you to take "Exit 1" at Vauxhall station, but "Exit 3" is the right one. Then the rest of the description makes sense again. |

| Hotel is the budget rooms section of the Comfort inn Vauxhall. luckily they ere very busy as both our rooms were upgraded into the comfort inn. hotel 87 rooms(we got a quick look) were a pretty crappy affair. dont have breakfast inn the hotel, it was quite pricy for what was basically tinned fruit, toast, cerial and boiled ham. none of the irons(1 on each level) were usable due to being dirty with burnt plastic. staff did not give a s%&t when we asked for help. stayed at 2 ibis hotels in london the next week and had far better experiences. |

| Overall we were happy with our stay and would book again, only minor problems were as follows:
The pillows were actually thinner than the duvet which did not make for the most comfortable nights sleep. Also there was only one each without any spares so we had to resort to using spare towels for better comfort. Booked online the night before arrival, although i had received conformation e-mails and ref numbers the hotel had no record of my booking.
Very expensive car parking, you can get cheaper in central london. |

| After reading some of the negative reviews I was a bit worried but I didnt need to be because the hotel was exellent, the room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the location was really good for getting into London and Brixton Academy where we went in the evening, for the price we paid for the room we couldnt complain and the next time we have to go to London we will book the Hotel again

Problems with the breakfast

| We had booked over www.discountcityhotels.net with a continental breakfast (CB). As we checked in we had discussions about the CB and they told us that it was not included and that we had to pay extra for it. Luckily we had the online resvervation confirmation printout with us. So we finally had our CB without paying extra. |

| Discount we got for booking on line was excellent, nice hotel, clean etc. Booking was easy and everything was booked when we arrived, no hassles and price was exactly what was confirmed on the booking, no hidden extras. Overall very happy with booking company and hotel, would use again if planning a stay in London, very close to Vauxhall underground so handy location for Tubes. |

| The hotel was not where the directions said it was!!!!! When i eventually found it I thought initially it was ok! Booked in without any problems and was given a room on the second floor. Id made my booking a few weeks ago and asked for a single room en-suite, i was given a family room with a double bed and 2 singles with not much room to move between them all! The room was adequate but nothing special and the facilities in the room were just ok. The bathroom was nice though! Ive been in much better hotels and im sure ive been in worse but cant quite remember!.....overall it was just ok. |

| Hotel87 is located on South Lambeth Road, not too far from Vauxhall station. Its within walking distance of Brixton making it ideal for clubbers. Generally, the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. In contrast to normal ensuite bathrooms in London hotels, Hotel87s shower rooms are reasonably spacious and exceptionally clean. Certainly a very high scorer for less then £70 a night. |

| We stayed here for the convenience of Vauxhall station being close by for underground and overground services. All in all a very well priced hotel with good facillities. The hotel communal areas and surrounding area were very clean but the room wasnt cleaned to a high standard after wed spent a night there. One thing to point out is that the hotel isnt clearly marked as "Hotel 87" at all. If youre explaining to a taxi driver or, as we did, walking down south lambeth road from vauxhall station then its Comfort Inn youre after. Discount City Hotels offered a very competitively priced service as the "walk-in" rate of the hotel was over double the price we paid in advance. |

| we only needed a few hours sleep before catching an early train from Waterloo Eurostar. The hotel is only a short taxi ride away, the room was clean and comfortable, even the film crew didnt disturb our stay (what TV film was it?!). Nice Portuguese restaurant just around the corner too. |

| Very good location and helpful staff. Room was clean and almost perfect for our needs. Only 2 small issues - 1) my partner had a cold and wanted a kettle & mug to have a lemsip in the room but this wasnt provided/allowed. 2) the bathroom was smaller than my work desk and so having a shower there was not an appealing prospect. Otherwise an excellent stay and so convenient that Im sure well stay again in the future (though may try and upgrade to a bigger room - we were in 115 for your info.) |

| The hotel 87 is located in vauxhall about 5 mins walk away from the tube station so found it to be an excellant base from which to explore London. The rooms were of a decent size - although we did book a twin and were given a room with 4 beds (enough to sleep 5 )!!! Was disappointed there were no tea making facilities in the room - although there was a coffee shop in the hotel it would have been nice to make your own cup of tea when you wanted it. Otherwise was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, have stayed at hotel 87 before and would most definately stay there again. |

| The walk from Vauxhall tube station wasnt too far ... wasnt too sure about the location ... the hotel itself is on the backside of the Comfort Inn, therefore the Hotel 87 name is a bit misleading. The room itself was nice enough - we had three beds, there was no toilet paper initially but the staff were friendly and helpful. The internet cafe on the side is a nice addition to the facilities. Overall our stay was comfortable. But in the future i think ill book somewhere a bit more central. |

| This was a last minute booking for my Hen day in London. Our last part of the evening was spent at Rennaissance Roller Disco in Vauxhall so meant we could just walk home after a crazy day. The rooms were perfect for us gals to share (2 x triple rooms) and the facilities perfect too. Id certainly stay there again.
