The hotel is a

| In the end, great value for money. Bookeda club double, and initially given a room where you couldnt even walk both sides of the bed. 2nd room slightly better but in the roof and felt like an oven. Finally, thrid room offered was great.....reaction and effort but a key member of staff turned an irrate customer into a very satisfied one |

| Did not use the restaurant, as I found it very pricey with regards to those in the very close vicinity (50-150 yards) especialyy for breakfast.
Concierge excellent, especially for booking shows etc. Bedrooms really far to small |

| excellent service [reception] on arrival, fair size room with bright, clean bathroom, most comfy bed ive ever slept in, excellent location [covent garden/ strand], booked online which took no time at all - totally hassle free, all for 130 quid for two nights. bloody good for the money! |

| £20 extra for club class. but I doubt if this is value for money. The room seemed very stuffy, even with open window and outside temp not particularly high. A fan would help. Location v convenient for my purposes. |

| we enjoyed our stay with you great for the theatre and covent garden area, no air conditioning made for a very hot night, but weather unusually hot for this summer! You had a fan in the room which did help a bit. |

| I actualy slept on the Bathroom Floor on the night as:
1. I was in a room that overlooked the Strand and it was extrmely noisy
2. There was a sound of sobbing and crying from the next room until 3AM which was when i decided to sleep in the Bath Room.
For that and for that reason only, I probably wouldnt stay at the Stand Palace again.
However, its a nice Hotel

| I stayed at the Strand Palace Hotel on Sat/Sun 20/21 January, in Room 298. On the Saturday evening, c.6 pm, I ran a bath. The hot water was lukewarm at best. Similarly, on Sunday morning, the water was far from hot. Not good enough! I trust that this gets back to the hotel. |

| We found the location perfect and the room we had was very quiet, clean,aired yet warm.Glad to see again the friendly Staff on duty at breakfast.
Three lifts are reliable. Soft drinks vending machine well stocked.
Only disappointment was one evening arriving back from concert found that the restaurant and Johnsons had closed.Plenty restaurants around the hotel but we would have preferred eating in the hotel to avoid the cold weather. |
