The Rembrandt

The hotels location, in the heart of Knightsbridge, makes an ideal base for
central London with exclusive shopping and famous museums right on your doorstep.
Whilst staying in the hotel you can enjoy a drink or light meal inthe glamorous
1606 Lounge Bar or a delicious carvery dinner in the Palette Restaurant. Guests

Bedrooms:
All rooms are furnished and finished to a high standard with modern facilities.
All executive rooms feature air conditioning and have jacuzzi baths and mini-bars

The Hotel offers six fully air conditioned conference rooms which all have natural

| the service at reception was not that great for a hotel of this standard. Firstly, they didnt speak clearly and although I have nothing against foreigners, one essential condition you should expect to receive from reception, your first point of contact, is friendliness and professionalism. They had 2 of my guests waiting in the reception lobby for 30 minutes because they refused to check them in, although there was a credit card number against their room booking. |

| We stayed at the Rembrandt for two weeks. We have no complaints about the hotel, which is being renovated. Soon all rooms will be air-conditioned. We were also satisfied with the services of Discount City Hotels. One glaring exception is that although our confirmation clearly stated "All taxes are included. we were charged a VAT 0f 340.49 GBP. This matter is now in dispute, and the phone calls and faxes back and forth required to resolve it are an unnecessary nuisance. Better communication between the Rembrandt and Discount City Hotels is in order. |

| Only comlaint was that TV reception was very poor. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. the first time I just thought it wa a poor TV , but too much of a coincidence that the reception was again so poor on main channels with a very grainy picture that it was almost impossible to watch the TV. |

| (Single) room was perfectly acceptable - clean and refurbished - but nothing more than I would expect from a 4* hotel. Hotel itself is rather old and depressing. Restaurant was tired and dull, service was awful and food had obviously been more appetizing at 7 pm than it was after sitting under hot lamps till 8.30pm! Location is fine if you want to visit museums, but too far out for theatreland, Soho, Oxford St. and Coven Garden. Very overpriced. Youre paying for Kensington location not for hotel quality. |

| Hotel rooms need updating, we stayed in room 166 and the door to the halway has a gap so that the
light and the noise from the halway comes into the room. Furthermore the floorboards creak.
