Built originally in the
1850s, this elegant Victorian listed building is ideally situated within a
minutes walk from Paddington train and underground station, therefore all the
top attractions are in very easy reach of our hotel. Main attractions on our
door step include Madam Tussauds, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Albert
Hall, the London theatres, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. In addition some
of the worlds greatest shops are minutes away, such as Oxford Street, Regents
Street, Bond Street, Carnaby Street, Kensington, Knightsbridge and the world
famous Harrods. The Belvedere Hotel is a small family run hotel offering bed
and breakfast. All our staff are dedicated to providing a welcome and friendly
atmosphere and are willing to assist in organising sight seeing tours of
London. In addition we offer maps and information on all tourist attractions.

| hotel good for one night but it was in a very noisy locatio, could hear tube so wouldnt like to stay here for more than one night as would soon get tired. Room we stayed in was very clean and had just been redecorated as still smelt slighly of paint. breakfast good cooked english |

| Good cheap hotel, however vile smell coming from en-suite which is the only thing that let it down. All staff helpful and they allowed us to drop bags before room was ready and leave until we departed in the afternoon. Thank you. |

| We stayed in the family room for 5 people.Do not have a bad word to say for the hotel.We have 3 boys under the age of 9 and they really enjoyed their stay too. Would definately return. |

| Thank you for much for your email dated 16 Jan 08.
My parents and I had a good stay at Belvedere Hotel and this is our 2nd stay on same year i.e. 2007.
My previous stay was from 13 Sep to 17 Sep 07. The locality of the hotel was so convenient to move around with the Tube station around
the corner and easy access to the food "joints" and souvenier shops too.
I will definitely be coming back again !.

| Nothing was too much trouble for the staff of the Belvedere Hotel. This was our second visit and we will be using this hotel again in the future. Good basic accommodation for our family of five and an ideal base for visiting the City at rates that are affordable. First time we were in the basement, this time on the third floor; no noise from the underground this time and as there is no lift, a bonus of good exercise to combat the excellent English breakfasts. All the family were again very happy. My only concern,being the person I am and always calculating the risk factor to our familys well-being, is what appears to be a lack of an adequate fire escape. |

HANDY FOR THE SITES

| The room was quite basic but it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple but good and the service was prompt. The location was very handy for buses and the tube into the city centre.
On the down side we had no cold water in the sink in the en suite, I reported this but nothing was done about it. There was also a leak from the sink which caused water to lie on the bathroom floor.
During the very hot weather air condioning or at least a fan would be very welcome. We had to keep the window open all night which meant that sleep was difficult because of a lot of noise from the street.
The lack of a fire escape was also worry.
Finally there were tea/coffee making facilities but no milk supplied.

| We had a great weekend at the Belvedere Hotel. The room was clean, they were nice about us checking out a little late, and we have no real complaints. The room was on the third floor and there were no elevators though. Id stay there again. |

| We stayed at the Belvedere Hotel during the first week of April, 2007. It is a budget hotel, but it was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good, filling and plentiful. The location was great, about 3 blocks from Paddington Station. |

| We had excellent service and would stay there again.
The only hiccup was the first time we stayed,we were on the top floor and no lift.The staff arranged for us to stay on the second floor on our next visit,very helpful.
They also let us store our bags in between stays. |

| We took a family room and were very pleased with the overall standard which we considered above that of a two star rating.The room was adequate for our family, although the rumble from the underground could clearly be heard.The majority of the family had no trouble with this, although one member was pleased when the trains stopped running for the night. Breakfast was traditional English, plentiful and good, but we wish we had arrived at the breakfast room earlier; it was busy and we had to wait ten minutes before we could be seated. We intend to book in again soon, as the hotel is convenient for visiting major attractions. |

| I really DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. £65 for a very small tight room. The bathroom was so small. Barely enough space to have a shower or even get in. The bed was a double but looked more like a single bed. Ive paid less money before for a better hotel and service.

| When we went to check in we showed the gentleman behind the counter our confirmation, it took him 30mins to find out that we did book the hotel then he showed us our room then he told us we would have to pay when we were checking out, overall we wernt very happy with a service. |

| We had a room painted strong yellow, but a pleasant high ceilinged room overlooking the reasonably quiet square. The bedspreads need replacing and give a tired impression, (we like duvet quilts). Had to que for breakfast on Sunday morning, but appreciated the full English breakfast and this made the stay value for money. |
